To support these efforts, in 2024, UNOPS launched several key initiatives: UNOPS Missions: eight missions dedicated to supporting the transition pathways needed to fulfill the 2030 Agenda – reinforcing UNOPS practical focus UNOPS Youth Engagement Platform: empowering the next generation to help shape a sustainable future UNOPS Climate Action Programme: our pledge to reduce corporate emissions, integrate climate-resilient practices in our operations and projects, and collaborate with partners to reduce emissions across our value chain UNOPS also completed a comprehensive set of reforms assigned to the organization by our Executive Board, which are part of our ongoing transformation journey to ensure we provide ever more effective solutions for our partners.
