The climate-resilient roads will enhance connectivity and help ensure the smooth transportation of goods and services to neighbouring communities and governorates.
Two access roads, 6.5 kilometers in total, will be paved to improve transportation and reduce congestion.

Disability-inclusive procurement and the Sustainable Procurement Framework At UNOPS, the guidance provided in the UNOPS Procurement Manual and the Sustainable Procurement Framework enables disability-inclusive procurement by: Including disability-inclusive criteria or considerations in tenders Ensuring compliance with the requirements of our supplier sustainability programme, DRiVE, which ensures a disability-inclusive supply chain through risk management and supplier development Supporting supplier diversity and social inclusion initiatives such as UNOPS Possibilities, which engages with disability-inclusive suppliers through capacity-building events Further guidance is provided in the UN Disability Inclusion Strategy Guidelines Indicator 8 .
