It's really a connector between, basically, on the global level, around implementing climate action, making sure that there is understanding not only on the level of the ministries of environment and the focal points for climate action, but also triggering and initiating a whole of society approach and a whole of government approach.
It means being transparent about the processes and practices applied, so that corruption is minimized and public resources are used efficiently and effectively. Importantly, good governance means responding to the present and future needs of societies, including the threats from a changing climate and more extreme natural events.
